Posting classifieds online is a great way to get people to visit your website. Here are some tips I use to write a good classified ad.
- Create your ad with urgency, but keep it short and descriptive- just enough to arouse curiosity.
- Pay to have boldfaced.
- Make sure you include your website address and contact info. (phone, email)
- Proof read your advertisement, and make sure to categorize your ad properly.

I visited several classified websites including Gumtree when I was searching for a flat to rent. It is certainly a lot easier than sifting through endless newspapers and whether it is a flat or a car your after, this is an avenue worth trying.
